He let Muse take a company to small claims court. He says it settled within 20 minutes of being served

Phillip Jackson, who said earlier this month that Muse could file small claims cases, posted an update that's been viewed close to 300,000 times. He says the company he sued through Muse agreed to settle within 20 minutes of being served, paid within 10 days including extra recovery costs, and that Muse then filed the motion to dismiss, which the court accepted. It's one person's account of a single case, but it's a vivid example of an agent handling paperwork most people avoid.

Why it matters

Small claims is designed for people without lawyers, yet the forms and deadlines put many off. If an agent can draft and track the filings, more people may follow through on disputes they'd otherwise drop.

Who it's for

Muse users with a clear, small consumer dispute, such as an unpaid refund or deposit, who want help with the paperwork. This is not legal advice.

How to try it

  1. Collect your evidence first: receipts, emails and a short timeline of what happened.
  2. Ask Muse to check your local small claims rules, limits and fees before drafting anything.
  3. Review every document yourself before it's filed, and talk to a lawyer if the case is complicated.

Plan & availability: Muse is a paid personal agent. Court filing fees and rules depend on your location. Status unverified: this is the poster's own account and wasn't confirmed by Muse or court records when we checked on October 31, 2026.
