Tencent's new open model Hy4 is free in its CodeBuddy and WorkBuddy agents until November 15, and half price on its API
Tencent launched Hy4, a new model it plans to release as open weights in the coming days. To get people trying it, Tencent says Hy4 is free to use in its CodeBuddy coding agent and WorkBuddy office agent from November 4 to November 15, 2026, within daily usage limits. On Tencent Cloud's TokenHub, the Hy4 API is 50% off through December 31, 2026. Hy4 is also listed on OpenRouter as tencent/hy4 with a 1M-token context window, so Claude Code or any other coding agent can wire it into an app with an OpenAI-style API call.
