Google AI Pro subscribers can now build with Argon in AI Studio
As of October 16, Google AI Pro subscribers can build with Gemini 4 Argon in AI Studio Build and the Playground. Before that it was limited to paid API and Ultra subscribers. It is the cheapest way to prototype small apps with Argon if you already pay for AI Pro.
Why it matters
AI Pro subscribers can now prototype with Google's top model without paying for API usage separately.
Who it's for
Indie developers and tinkerers who already pay for Google AI Pro.
How to try it
- Go to AI Studio and sign in with your AI Pro account.
- Open Build and describe the app you want.
- Use the Playground to test prompts before wiring them into code.
Plan & availability: Google AI Pro, AI Studio Build and Playground (since Oct 16, 2026).
