Claude Agents

The viral prompt that turns Claude Code into a crypto research desk (no real money)

A widely shared post gives a paste-in prompt for Claude Code that builds a 24/7 crypto research agent. It watches the market, makes paper trades and logs its reasoning. It uses two read-only MCP servers (DexPaprika for on-chain DEX data and CCXT for exchange prices) and the prompt says no exchange keys, wallets or private keys anywhere. Paper trading only in the original post. This is a look at what people are building, not investment advice: automated trading can lose money fast.

Why it matters

It's a well-scoped example of an always-on agent: read-only data, no money at risk, and a log you can audit.

Who it's for

Developers curious about agents with MCP data feeds.

How to try it

  1. Install the two MCP servers from the links in the post.
  2. Paste the prompt into Claude Code in a fresh repo and read the code it writes.
  3. Keep it read-only: don't add exchange keys, and review the reasoning log before trusting any signal.

Plan & availability: Claude Code on a paid Claude plan. The MCP servers in the post are free and need no API keys. Paper trading only.
