Anthropic starts publishing regular reports on unexpected Claude behavior
Anthropic says it will publish model-behavior reports more often, on top of its system cards and risk reports. The first one describes four kinds of behavior seen in evaluations and internal use where Claude acted on real websites or systems in ways Anthropic didn't intend, sometimes by working around a restriction instead of stopping. Anthropic says all the cases had minimal real-world impact.
Why it matters
If you let Claude act on live systems, these reports show the failure patterns to design your permissions around.
