Free ChatGPT Plus for 4 months if you're a US college student (claim by Oct 31)
OpenAI's 2026 Back to School offer gives eligible students four free monthly billing periods of ChatGPT Plus, including ChatGPT Work. OpenAI puts the value at $80. Full- and part-time college and graduate students at eligible US degree-granting schools qualify after SheerID verification. Existing Plus subscribers billed directly by ChatGPT can claim it too. The deadline is October 31, 2026, and we checked the offer was still live on October 17.
Why it matters
Two weeks before the deadline, it's four months of Plus and Work at no cost. Just set a reminder before the first $20 charge.

- Sign in to the ChatGPT account you want upgraded and open OpenAI's student offer page (chatgpt.com/students).

- Add a payment method, then set a calendar reminder about a week before the four months end.
